Jenny Craley Bland, Assistant Music Director and Rehearsal Accompanist, retired from the World Bank in 1995 after working there as a translator for over three decades. During that period she started out as an alto with the World Bank-IMF Chorus, then served as the group’s accompanist for many years, and spent several more years as its conductor. She also led a madrigal group, Jenny and Friends, which performed lesser known Christmas carols in the Bank’s various lobbies during the holiday season. She is assistant music director and rehearsal accompanist for the Victorian Lyric Opera Company, has played for the Washington Savoyards for a number of years, and has worked with youth groups at the Buxton Gilbert and Sullivan Festival in England. She is also a member of the Ad Hoc Singers.
